I like to pretend I have a really talented friend who recorded this album as a gift. That's what it feels like; a gift from a stupidly close friend. sherryking
I love the mellow and melancholic melodies in each song. I especially enjoy the sweet harmonics opening "Safe Haven," with a cathartic juxtaposition of crashing drums, guitar, and bass that continues through the entire song. Derek Cebrian
A concept record about taking a bath, this dreamy EP splits the difference between chillwave, vaporwave, and yet-to-be-discovered waves. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 10, 2019
Tender and melancholy ambient pop from Asher Levitas, blurring the lines between imagined environments and real, highly personal ones. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 1, 2022
Yvette plays a re-recorded and improved version of “A Map a String a Light”, which is great and now features at least two guitar tracks and a violin. Natalie Evans is a new name to me, but it will certainly stay in my head because her song, although much shorter and simpler, is frankly good. Her juvenile voice makes it sound like a child’s daydream, and the accompanying instruments only reinforce that feeling. It’s a great song on the pop side of math rock.
